Jason Sargeant, accused of slashing two people at New York City’s Grand Central terminal

A crazed man was arrested last night in New York City after attacking and slashing two individuals with a knife at the Grand Central subway terminal on Christmas Eve.

The victims include a 42-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, who said that police were nowhere to be found when she was punched in the head then attacked with a knife. “No one called 911. No one in Grand Central called 911. It was my neighbor. I called my neighbor. I was on the phone with my neighbor when it happened, and she called 911,” the 26-year-old woman, Imani-Ciara Pizarro, reportedly said.

This comes after the viral incident where an illegal immigrant lit a woman on fire on a New York City subway train. Likewise, in both cases, bystanders did nothing to help. As the woman burned, no bystanders did anything to help. Adding to the outrage, a transit police officer is seen walking past the burning woman, appearing to speak on his radio but continuing down the platform without rendering immediate assistance or attempting to apprehend the perpetrator.

The Guatemalan illegal, Sebastian Zapeta, crossed into the US in Arizona on June 1, 2018 and was deported a few days later on June 7, 2018.

Perhaps nobody wants to help because they fear the same fate as Daniel Penny, who faced murder charges after stopping a homeless drug addict who was threatening women and children on the subway.

Reporting on the scene from Eyewitness News details the horrific incident on Tuesday night at approximately 10:15 pm. “Officials say the 28-year-old has three prior arrests for criminal mischief, fare beating, and assaulting a police officer. Now charges for that suspect at this point this morning on Christmas morning, are still pending,” the outlet reported.

Conservative commentator Larry Elder slammed New York Governor Kathy Hochul for another incident in New York, joking, “Kathy Hochul was not available for comment.”

New York Post reports,

A woman who was stabbed by a maniac at Grand Central Terminal on Christmas Eve said he came up from behind and punched her — and that  no one around her came to her aid after he plunged the knife into her throat.

Imani-Ciara Pizarro, 26, had just gotten off the 4 train around 10 p.m. and was heading to her administrative night job at the Roosevelt Hotel, which has been converted into a migrant shelter, when she was attacked.

She was Facetiming with her neighbor when she spotted blood spattered on the floor near the turnstiles. Seconds later, she Pizarro “blacked out” when the assailant “sucker punched” her in the back of the head “as hard as he could,” forcing her to the ground.

The suspect, identified by police as 28-year-old Brooklyn native Jason Sargeant, began repeatedly yelling at her “what’s your problem?” — and then lunged at her with a small knife, cutting through her throat. He then kicked Pizarro’s phone away.

“It’s not fair. We’re getting hurt every day. And there’s nothing I can do. I can’t protect myself. I’ve almost been assaulted two other times in the last two months by mentally ill people,” Pizarro said. “I want to be able to go to work and not be harassed and attacked. To be safe. It’s not possible now.”
