More than 100 civilians gathered outside the White House this week to peacefully advocate the overthrow of the brutal, totalitarian Iranian regime.

In place of the tyrannical Iranian regime that has oppressed its citizens for decades – imprisoning and murdering its dissidents, while casting a dark cloud over the Middle East region, at large – these American conservatives assembled to advocate the temporary restoration of power to Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, the political successor to Iran’s monarchy overthrown in 1979.

A fluent English speaker, Crown Prince Reza obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Southern California, after originally residing in the United States in 1978 for his Imperial Iranian Air Force training at Reese Air Force base, Texas.

In 1980, following the death of his father, the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza, Crown Prince Reza ascended to the head of his royal house, while exiled in Cairo, Egypt.

Although the United States Department of State opted to officially recognize the totalitarian Iranian regime in 1980, Crown Prince Reza formed an Iranian constitutional monarchy-in-exile in 1986.

Nearly 40 years later, the introduction page on Crown Prince Reza’s website quotes Crown Prince Reza as saying, “I will not rest until Iran has a national, democratic and elected government of the people.”

Evidently, Crown Prince Reza’s initiative to restore non-tyrannical government in Iran has built serious momentum over recent years.

On November 14, 2024, only nine days after President Trump’s re-election, Crown Prince Reza wrote on social media platforms that “Iranians should reclaim our beloved Iran,” adding,

“At your call, I am ready to guide this change and lead the transitional period.”

In April, 2025, Crown Prince Reza’s statement was echoed by his faithful American supporters, en masse.

In video footage captured by the Gateway Pundit, one leader of the “Free Iran” protest outside the White House said of Crown Prince Reza,

“His name has echoed throughout Iran, from rooftops to soccer stadiums, reflecting the widespread trust placed in his leadership. He has consistently advocated for a free Iran, and called for a Democratic referendum, empowering Iranians to determine their future. [He is] supported by civic and institutional networks inside Iran.”

This protestor from the Gateway Pundit’s footage claimed that Crown Prince Reza’s liberation movement will offer a peaceful transition of temporary power to Crown Prince Reza, at which time he will facilitate democratic elections for a new Iranian government, as decided by the people.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Reza has curried favor with many influential world leaders. In July, 2024, Crown Prince Reza spoke at the National Conservatism Conference in Washington, DC.

In January, 2025, Crown Prince Reza urged President Trump to refrain from brokering a nuclear deal with the brutal, Iranian government, asking President Trump to instead prioritize the dissolution of the current Iranian government.

In February, 2025, Crown Prince Reza was invited to the Munich Security Conference, and spoke at the Munich Convergence Summit.

Ultimately, the composition of the Iranian government is of utmost, pressing importance on the geopolitical stage.

Unlike most leftwing American protests, fear and negativity did not pervade the “Crown Prince Reza for a Free Iran” assembly outside the White House in April. Instead, various polished speakers took to the podium, while dozens of protestors waved Royal Iranian flags, posing no threat to pedestrians.

As one protestor, who asked to remain anonymous out of concern for her family’s safety, told the Gateway Pundit, “We should expect such protests for a free Iran to continue for a very long time in Washington, DC.”
