DEVELOPING: Multiple Police Officers Shot in York County, Pennsylvania

Update: Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro confirmed two state troopers have been shot.

Multiple police officers were reportedly shot in York County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday.

Hospitals and schools are on lockdown with a ‘shelter-in-place’ after the officer-involved shooting.

The condition of the officers is not known.

WHP reported:

Police are currently on scene of a reported officer-involved shooting that has locked down multiple facilities within the county.

A helicopter and multiple fire police have been called to the area of the 1800 block of Haar Road, according to an online dispatch records from York County.

The Spring Grove School District posted to its website, saying that all district schools between K-12 are sheltering in place “due to an officer-involved incident” that is unrelated to students and staff.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro said he is on his way to the scene.

“I’ve been briefed on the situation involving law enforcement in York County, and am on my way there now. We ask those in the area to please follow the directions of local law enforcement and
