Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic gold medalist turned outspoken conservative advocate, hinted at a potential run for California governor in 2026.
Jenner’s target? None other than Kamala Harris, who is reportedly considering her own gubernatorial bid after a historic defeat to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.
After suffering a bruising loss to Donald Trump in 2024, Harris has spent recent weeks regrouping with her inner circle while vacationing in Hawaii.
According to reports from Politico Playbook, Harris is weighing her next move: a run for governor of California or a long-shot bid for the Democrat presidential nomination in 2028.
Yet Harris enters this potential gubernatorial race with significant political baggage. Critics have pointed to her lackluster record as Vice President and her divisive tenure as San Francisco’s District Attorney.
Recent polling shows widespread dissatisfaction among Californians with the state’s direction under Democrat leadership.
In a series of posts on X on Monday, Jenner stirred speculation about a potential political return. Sharing posts about California’s open governor’s seat in 2026, Jenner energized supporters with her rallying cry: “MAKE CA GREAT AGAIN!”

Insiders suggest Jenner is seriously considering a gubernatorial bid. A source close to the situation told the Washington Examiner, Jenner is receiving numerous calls encouraging a run and is actively engaging in discussions.
“Should we do it again?” Jenner teased online. “Have been getting a lot of calls with a lot of strong opinions. Newscum [Governor Gavin Newsom] is out in 2026.”

When one X user asked if Jenner could “clean [Harris’] clock” in a race, the media personality didn’t mince words, responding, “If I ran, and it was ultimately against Harris, I would destroy her.”

Jenner outlined priorities, pledging to address California’s homelessness crisis directly.
“DAY ONE: CA would have a @DOGE [Department of Government Efficiency] STATE LEVEL AGENCY! Especially to clean up the homelessness industrial complex!” Jenner wrote.

California has long been a Democratic stronghold, but disillusionment with the state’s soaring taxes, rampant homelessness, and soft-on-crime policies has created an opening for candidates like Jenner.
In a separate post, Jenner added, “CA DOGE FORMED ON DAY 1… This is at the top of the agency’s TO DO LIST…it just keeps on growing… IF I RUN (AND IF I DO RUN I WILL WIN) WE ARE GUTTING CA FRAUD WASTE & ABUSE.”

On Tuesday evening, Jenner doubled down, taking a direct swipe at Harris. “She literally just seemingly addressed the nation seemingly drunk… Of course, I’ll destroy her if I run. I am taking meetings, and this will not be a decision I make lightly, but very seriously. A GOP victory IS possible! Convo is…should it be me.”

When questioned about sexuality, Jenner argue that the core problem lies not with “real trans people,” but with the broader agenda being pushed in schools and society.
The problem isn’t with REAL trans people…
The problems are w/:
-indoctrinating children with radical gender ideology in schools
-mutilating / castrating children, forever, ruining their lives
-men in women’s sports
-taking away parental rights (like we see terribly in CA) https://t.co/v21JM07jpL— Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn_Jenner) November 27, 2024
